Wellness can be a vague term, but to me it means you feel “Great” You feel in control of your health, and you have a plan for maintenance. A wellness assessment will help you establish a home program considering your typical postures, routines, balance, daily habits, to optimize your health. I will also measure vitals, balance, and I will offer counsel on daily functions such as bowel, bladder, and sexual function.
Please note this is a cash-based (self pay) service and a referral is not needed.

Balance
Balance in the physical sense can be broken down into static balance ( while you are still), and dynamic balance (during movement). Both are important for daily life.
Your balance is controlled by 3 major systems in our body: visual, vestibular, and somatosensory. If someone favors one system versus another they may experience dizziness or imbalance.
This assessment will take a look at functional balance during daily activities, or during functional tasks such as bed mobility, doing daily chores, or simply looking around during walking.
Please note this is a cash based (self pay) service. A referral is not needed.

Professional Education
This is likely my favorite aspect of my work. Learning about your body and how it works empowers you to be your best healer.
This can take place in my clinic, on-site, as a presentation, individually or in a group setting, around a table with wine and finger foods….your choice.
Common topics for education include:
Pelvic Floor Anatomy
General sex education
Balance & Mobility
Urinary or Bowel Dysfunction
Balance & Dizziness
Labor and Delivery Preparation
Pregnancy & Postpartum Self Care
(Don’t see a topic you are interested….just ask)

Mobility & Stretching
Do you feel stiff, tight, sore, and you can’t quite figure out how to make it better? Do you wish to return to a sport or activity, but want to loosen up to help prevent injury? Or maybe you're a hard core athlete that has a big tournament, dance recital, or event coming up and you want to perform at your best. Whatever the reason, just about everyone could benefit from being stretched out.
Knowledge of the anatomy as well as rehab gives me an advantage to performing this effectively and safely.
This is a self pay service and requires no referral.
